To enhance your experience on MobyScreener and deliver relevant functionality, we use a variety of technologies to collect and store data about your interactions with our services. This section outlines the key technologies we employ and how they operate.
Cookies and Related Technologies
We and our third-party service providers use cookies and similar technologies to track user activity and preferences across the Service. These include:
Cookies: Small text files stored on your device that help websites remember user preferences, session information, and login states. These include:
Session cookies, which expire once you close your browser.
Persistent cookies, which remain on your device for longer periods.
First-party cookies, set by MobyScreener.
Third-party cookies, set by our analytics, marketing, and functionality partners.
Local Storage (e.g., HTML5): Browser-based storage mechanisms that offer a cookie-like experience but with greater storage capacity and persistence.
Web Beacons (Pixel Tags/Clear GIFs): Invisible image files embedded in web pages or emails that allow us to determine whether content was viewed or interacted with. These beacons help us assess the effectiveness of our communications and on-site behavior.
Software Development Kits (SDKs): Bundles of third-party code integrated into our mobile app that enable us to perform analytics, connect to third-party platforms, and extend functionality. For instance, SDKs may allow social logins, error tracking, or user behavior analysis.
On-Device Measurement Technologies (ODM): Tools that may locally analyze app and device data to create anonymized usage metrics, depending on your region. For example, we may use Google’s ODM services, which process data on-device and transmit anonymized insights. For more information, see Google’s Partner Site Policies.
Chat and AI Interaction Tools: Our live chat and AI assistant tools (e.g., Intercom) may utilize cookies and embedded code to track how you engage with support features. This includes storing your chat history, IP address, city/state, and any other information you provide. These tools enable real-time communication and personalization of support.
Third-Party Access & Data Sharing
Some of the above technologies are operated by third parties, who may independently collect data about your interactions with the Service over time and across different websites and services. These third parties may use this data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Your Choices
To manage how cookies and similar technologies are used, please review your browser or device settings. Some features of the Service may not function properly if you disable cookies or certain SDK functionality. For more on your rights and how to control tracking technologies, see the Your Choices section of this Privacy Policy.

To determine appropriate retention periods, we consider a range of factors, including:
The volume, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information
The risk of harm from unauthorized access or disclosure
The purposes for which we process the data and whether those purposes can be achieved through other means
Applicable legal, tax, or regulatory requirements
When personal information is no longer required, we will either delete it, anonymize it (so it can no longer be associated with you), or, if deletion is not immediately possible—for example, due to backup systems—we will securely isolate the data from further processing until deletion is feasible.
Once anonymized, data may be retained and used indefinitely for analytical, research, or product development purposes.

Other Users & Public Blockchain
Some features of the Service may display limited profile information (e.g. wallet addresses, username) to other users. Additionally, by nature of blockchain technology, any data recorded on-chain (such as wallet activity or token holdings) is public, permanent, and outside our control. This means that blockchain data may be viewable, copied, or stored by anyone, including third parties not affiliated with us.
6. Your Rights and Choices
We believe in giving users clear control over their data. Below are the choices and tools available to you regarding how we collect, use, and share your personal information. If you’re located in Europe or certain U.S. states, additional rights may apply (see the Your Rights section below).

Deleting Content or Closing Your Account
You may be able to delete specific content from your account directly. If you’d like to close your account entirely, you can request deletion through the app’s settings menu or by contacting us at [email protected]. Account closure may result in the permanent loss of certain data, and some residual data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
